“Kenya through my own eyes” – An evening that moved and connected us

For the first time, I had the opportunity to present “Kenya through my own eyes” to a selected audience - made up of close friends and family .I shared exclusive insights into the work of Imara Africa.

The evening took place as a true living room talk – personal, warm, and intimate. The audience was wonderfully diverse: from 10 to 86 years old, all generations were represented. And once again, it became clear that the issue of water touches us all – regardless of age, background, or continent. As we talked about Kenya, the people we met, and the challenges around access to clean water, a very special atmosphere emerged:
quiet moments, reflection, honest emotion – and a sense of hope.

Many guests were visibly moved, others inspired, and everyone left with something to think about. This evening showed us how important it is to tell stories, raise awareness, and take people along on our journey.
We are already looking forward to continuing our series of talks with a wider audience. We want to show even more people why Imara Africa was founded – and why clean water truly changes lives.
